Plays a major role in helping write and retain profitable business. Leads all S&H control staff and services in a designated region. Reports to Regional Executive and directs staff including a manager. Ensures high quality loss control service provided to policyholders, agents/brokers, and internal customers within assigned territory. Well versed in workers’ compensation and safety & health practices and procedures. Coordinates day-to-day activities, workflow, and assignment completion for all S&H staff. All tasks are to be performed with the goal of achieving an underwriting profit and demonstrating superior workers’ compensation expertise.
Education, Skills and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required with preferred field of study in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, science, or engineering.
- Achieved loss/risk control or safety & health related master’s degree or recognized professional designation such as CSP, ARM or CIH. • 10 years loss control experience. • 6 years leading others with proven track record of results. • Demonstrated skill in defining, measuring and increasing performance and reporting outcomes.
The position leads a staff of 10 and pays $165K to $190K (doe) plus bonus and auto allowance. ARM or CSP highly preferred. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
