Candidate will create and execute studies to monitor and assess employees’ exposure to health risks, and measure effectiveness of occupational health programs, policies, and procedures. Candidate will advise and collaborate with management to resolve occupation health issues and will maintain current knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation. In addition, candidate will advise and collaborate with management to resolve occupations health issues and will propose/lead implementation of programs to protect employee health to include ergonomics. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds on a regular basis and must be able to maneuver up and down stairs/ladder located inside various ships. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field approved by the ABIH certification board. In addition, the candidate must have an Industrial Hygienist (CIH) Certification or must be eligible to take the exam at hire date.
