Metrics, Leadership, and Support – How Much Does It Matter?

Toby Hammett, CSP, MBA

Our own Chapter President for 2022-2023, Toby Hammett, will be speaking to us at the June meeting.  Toby’s presentation will blend three essential safety considerations we all are interested in – what we measure, the value of those metrics to leadership, and the support we need from them to convert metrics to action.  We’ve all experienced the situation where we are asked to develop “numbers” in support of our activities and initiatives, and then nothing happens with that information.  This presentation links metrics – the information we produce, leadership and their need to support us in using metrics/information to enhance our overall safety efforts.

And while you’re there, don’t forget about the

Chapter Officer Elections

We are pleased to announce our slate of candidates for the 2023-2024 year!  Some familiar names have agreed to remain in their capacities and continue to help us develop momentum coming out of the pandemic.  With that in mind, please be prepared to vote on the following:

  • Chris Malicki – Treasurer
  • Scott Simerson – Secretary
  • Chris Malicki – President-Elect

On July 1st, Toby Hammett will shift to the Past-President role and Lee Donahue will succeed to the role of President.  The official swearing in of officers will take place at the Breakfast Meeting in July.

This presentation will be a great way to end the current Chapter Year – sign up early and don’t miss it.  See you on June 13th!
