Rally with the American Red Cross of Orange County on Saturday, August 16, in Chula Vista to Sound the Alarm! The event will be a fun day of preparing families against home fires and making your community safer. Together, we will visit neighborhoods and knock on doors to ensure homes have working smoke alarms, educate families about home fire safety, create escape plans, and document our services. No experience is necessary! All you need to do is wear comfy walking shoes and we will provide the rest including breakfast, snacks, lunch, all the equipment needed, and a map of your assigned area.
